D&D Club Keegan Campaign Day One

Today was the first day of D&D club at TSTEM, and I for one, was bouncing with excitement because of it all day. By the time we moved off into separate calls, all six players were either ready to make a character or we had one made already. Admittedly, it took us a fairly long time to actually start playing. There were some technical difficulties with a few players, but all of us wanted to play today, so we actually stayed in call after school so we could have our first session. In the first session, our Dungeon Master Keegan gave us some basic information about the campaign and what our first quest was. We were hired by an elderly man to escort an explorer group through an abandoned town in order to find a faster route to the nearest hospital. We all took our time buying items for our quest and then all ended up in the local tavern. With the job itself not happening until the morning, the characters all took some time to lounge around the tavern and introduce themselves. We had some great player character interactions and have already begun to learn about all the members of the party and some of us even got to meet and formulate our opinions of eachother. Although most seemed positive enough, it isn't possible for everyone to get along. All of us went to bed dreaming of the morning and the job it would bring, not yet as friends, but certainly as colleagues.
